My favorite wind ensemble piece. Well it's in the top 3 or 4. Here is the bass clarinet part, and a pair of "music minus one bass clarinet" tracks: one with just the Eb clarinet part (to practice tuning and rhythm) and one with all three parts in the canon (so you can practice tuning and rhythm AND staying together with the ensemble).

Just when I think I've got all the treasures from Earspasm that exist, late last night on YouTube (on the $50,000 AV system in my new home which you should come check out some time), I caught your Lincolnshire Posy video, thus this download this morning.
By the way, played this in high school, and along with the Holst 2nd Suite and Robert Russell Bennett's Suite of American Dances, that's why I went into music. Didn't discover the Husa until I was in my 30's….I played the soprano clarinet solo part then.
I've also played version A with alto clarinet playing the duet with piccolo.
So I get to revisit that and also the Bb clarinet solo and the bass solo, and the alto sax solo. This is so valuable for me and my students, and such a great tribute to Grainger.

I've loved Lincolnshire Posey since college. This piece has special significance with Maestro Frederick Fennell coming to Texas and giving our Wind Ensemble a clinician and concentrating on this piece.
