Long tone exercises

There are many good long tone exercises - this one includes interval jumps that are a useful workout in their own right. Each phrase of the exercise is just the right length to challenge and build breath endurance. Not the only one I use, but I really like this one. Many thanks!

Any long tone exercise is good, but I think this one overemphasizes only a few notes.

I like this warm up. It is simple and versatile. I don't know its intended use- I must have missed that video- but I use it to focus on fundamentals: breathing, embouchure, articulated long tones, good, smooth sound, ear training, etc.

Doing it every day. Really helping with embouchure. Thanks!

Excellent warm up. One change: transpose down to end on a low C. Otherwise excellent !

This is a great exercise to learn to play 'between the notes', and it is helping correct my tendency to close my throat and force the notes.

This is a simple but extremely effective warm up that emphasizes even tone, smooth fingering and solid intonation over the range of the instrument.
