58% Wood Instrument Case Humidifier

58% Wood Instrument Case Humidifier

A much bigger variant than our reed humidifiers—like 8x bigger—this pouch will control the humidity of your clarinet case for up to 6 months. Just put it in your case, and forget about it. If you live in a dry environment, and especially during the winter months, you're going to want the extra security against cracking this pouch provides.

Boveda will never humidify beyond the RH on the pack, so there's no such thing as "too much." And you'll know it's time to replace simply when the entire Boveda begins turning hard.

These come in a sealed pouch, so in case you would like to purchase more than one they will maintain their freshness for up to 2 years.

Humidity to the rescue

For the first time in 50 years, my grenadilla clarinet’s bell ring turned. Before panicking, I turned to earspasm.com and found information and this excellent product. After a week of humidifying my horn in its case, the ring is again firmly in place.

Bassoonist here…was having an issue with dryness

Bassoonist here…was having an issue with dryness. My bassoon had shrunk up and my bell ring was actually loose, got a couple of the Boveda Humidity packs, put them in my case and within a few days the dryness problem was gone. Thanks, Michael, for providing essential stuff for us mortals

Added insurance for an expensive instrument

I recently bought a Buffet Prestige Bass Clarinet, and this humidly pack has been in the case since day one. The climate here in North Carolina isn't particularly cold or dry, but I LOVE knowing that this pack is in the case just to make sure the wood is being cared for! The 72% humidity packs for my reeds ae also great.

Does what it says on the tin!

Works great, especially in the crazy weather changes in the midwest. Last one lasted like 9 months before getting crunchy. I’ve never had any cracks in my clarinet yet, knock on wood *wink*

Humidifier

Hi guys—it’s very good, but the one I was sent started to expire after about ten days (got crinkly and started to harden)

Works just as promised!

I have one in my Uebel Zenit case and another in my Selmer Signature case. Piece of mind up here with the cool (Ok, f—-ng cold) and dry winters in Minnesota.

I leave this humidifier in my case at all times because is quite dry here in California. My horns feels better to play when it's in a certain humidity! Try it out!

I love using the case humidifiers. They are definitely making winter more tolerable. I use them in my reed bags too. I have some happy reeds.
