Super compact and super quality. With a bit of work it fits everything I need (reeds, screwdriver, pen, cork grease, cleaning cloth), except sheet music.

The case is small and compact, but not as lightweight as I thought it would be. I have a special thumb rest and reed case that won’t fit in the case. I used it once and put it in a larger bag with my music, thumb rest, and reed case and decided I was better off with another case that holds everything I need, including my thumb rest, reed case and music. It’s a nice little case, and I’ll probably give it to my granddaughter who plays clarinet. It just doesn’t fit my needs.

I love how compact and lightweight the case is and my clarinet stays firmly in place. It really is an adorable case, I love the vibrant color (red). My only con is that the case does not stay open while putting together and putting away my clarinet; otherwise, I'm loving it. I'm planning on traveling with my clarinet this summer, so this is perfect for that, as well as carting it around for all of my rehearsals and concerts! There is little to no other space in the case for accessories, so I have a backpack that holds my supplies/accessories (the clarinet case just slips right in!). It's working out great. So small. So light. And yet soooo sturdy: I never worry about my clarinets (yes, plural) coming to any harm when tucked into one of these Marcus Bonna cases. This is the second one I've purchased (because I seem to collect clarinets ... She with the most toys wins? ;) - which is probably the most emphatic endorsement of all!

I already use a smaller case however when I fly I like being the clarinet on board in a backpack with my other items.

This case is considerably smaller yet fits all the pieces and hold them well. There is even a bit of extra room for reeds and cleaning swabs.

Anything else I may need I can piece into the suitcase. Just not the instrument itself. If for some reason I do need to pack it in a suitcase then it won’t take up too much room.

What would make it even better would be an outside zipper pocket for reeds, cork grease, and other small items.

I love the way the lower joint fits but the side keys on the upper joint touch the bell when my R13 is in the case. Additionally when I tried to readjust the position of the velcro the velcro detatched from the foam and I needed to reglue it. Many edges of the case seem unfinished and unsecure. This case is not perfect by any means but it is slimmer than most cases.

Great little case! I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase! It has just enough room for my clarinet and Earspasm swab and will easily fit into my backpack. Now I can take my clarinet along on my business trips. Thanks for the great Earspasm service Michael and Catherine!

OUT-standing! This (tiny! but mighty!) case is the absolute Bomb (which is a good thing). It's so small and so light, yet you can tell it would stand up to being dropped or other atrocities... and your clarinet would never feel a thing. I'm SO glad I bought this!! (And, side benefit, I'm the envy of the other clarinetists in my community band. Trust me, I'm pointing them at Earspasm!!). Great products, great service. Couldn't ask for more! :)

Wow what a case! I'm currently a freshman at university so I was looking for a case that could easily fit in my bag but still protect my instrument -- and this fits both those needs perfectly. It is incredibly well constructed, and fits the instrument very snugly. Not much room for accessories, but that's as advertised, just stick it in a bag and you'll have all the room you need!

GREAT little case! My first colour choice, the Teal, was gone....but my close second choice "Yaller" was still available. I love the case! I am a doubler and almost always carry multiple instruments in one bag, so compactness has always been the name of the game. The Bonna case is super small but I can tell the horn is secure and well-protected.

For years I, and many of my friends in NY, have been using the Yamaha pochette cases that come with some of their horns. I even bought a Yamaha clarinet as a backup just to get one of those cases :). I still love that case, but I also love the Marcus Bonna.

It takes a minute to get used to settling the horn in there, but it is snug and comfy once you figure it out (I'm not sure how Mike got the case to close with a barrel upright at the end of the center compartment like in his picture, but I can fit two barrels in there with the mouthpiece if I lay them down).

The Bonna case light, thin (the cover/padding on the outside of Bonna case makes it look a bit thicker than the Yamaha in my pictures, but it does compress, so I'm not sure it's ultimately that different), and the clear winner when it comes to length (the handle on the end doesn't add any length). I also prefer the security of the zipper on the Bonna case to the latches on my other case. See pictures for comparison.
