Vandoren Optimum Rose Gold Bb Clarinet Ligature

This is a Bb Clarinet Ligature.

The Vandoren Optimum. I personally play the black version of this ligature (and played the Silver version before it) because it's just a great piece of gear. It's not fussy like many other ligatures, lets the reed vibrate (and you have three reed plates to choose from which sliiiiightly change the response of the ligature), and it's a great value.

Does rose gold make a difference? It does if you like rose gold! Seriously, I'm sure there is a metallurgic difference between the rose gold plate and silver plate, so if you're trying to squeeze out the last 0.1% of awesomeness out of your clarinet setup, this may be the way to go. But if you're looking to squeeze the last 10% of awesomeness out of how your setup looks, then this is a winner. So who are we kidding here? Sure...you're getting it for the resonance and vibration difference. I believe in you.
