D'Addario Organic Reserve Alto Sax Reeds

I'll be honest: I don't play sax. So I haven't personally put these through their paces.

But here's what I can tell you: D'Addario's Organic Reserve reeds for clarinet genuinely impressed me — consistent strength-to-strength, almost no duds, solid cane quality. If the sax reeds are getting the same treatment (and they're coming from the same USDA-certified organic plantations in France), there's no reason to think they'd be any different.

D'Addario positions the Reserve as their alternative to the Vandoren Traditional cut — thinner blank, unfiled, designed for a balance of flexibility and focus. If you've been a Vandoren player forever and you're feeling reed curious, this is a reasonable place to start exploring.

Try one. If it doesn't work for you, at least you only bought one.
