Clarinet (and Bass Clarinet) Oiling Kit

You may recognize this swab as the World's Best Neck Swab...because it is. BUT, this swab comes with enough organic sweet almond oil to oil the bore of your wooden clarinet for about 2-3 years! (And if you need more oil, grab some here.)

This swab is the same material as we use for our World’s Best Bass Clarinet Swab (and WB Clarinet Swab) but it is optimized for oiling. How? Well, it’s narrower,  because you don’t need all of that material all you want to do is lightly coat the bore with oil — extra material will just absorb the oil you’re trying to leave inside the instrument! And yeah, i’s blue, so you can easily see which swab it is.

Here are the simple steps you need to remember about oiling your clarinet:

1. You don’t need to oil more than twice a year.
2. You must only use 7-8 drops of oil. The goal is NOT to soak your bore with oil, and accidentally oiling your pads is a big no-no. It can ruin them.

And, um, that’s it.

Can you use this to also swab a bass clarinet neck? Yes! You can. The amount of oil on the swab is not going to hurt the neck. So this swab can perform double-duty!
