Backun Alpha Low C/ Low Eb Nylon Backpack Case

So you got a Backun Alpha bass clarinet and it came with the hard shell plastic case. You know, the one with no backpack straps — or ANY kind of strap for that matter. Or, you have a different low C bass clarinet in a case that is on its last legs.

Here's the  Backun Alpha Low C Bass Clarinet CASE — the nylon backpack version with music and accessory pouches. 

FAQ: 

Q: Is this case bigger than the Alpha's hard shell case?
A: About 1 cm taller and maybe 1-2 cm wider. That's it. 

Q: Does it protect the instrument as well? 
A: Yes, I think so. The case is a light hardshell that is covered by nylon. It basically feels like a BAM Trekking case, if you're familiar with that one. Interior is more cushioned than the hard shell case, too.

Q: Can I store as much in this nylon case? 
A: Actually, you can store more inside this case, plus it has the two outside pouches.

Q: Does this case fit other bass clarinets?
A: It depends. The Eb case doesn't hold any one-piece bass clarinets, and neither can hold any Selmer bass clarinets. But it might hold yours. I've added a photo that shows the dimensions so you can measure yours. 

Q: Can I put a Bb clarinet case in the outer pouch
A: No, it wouldn't fit. But you can fit a 15" computer, an iPad, sheet music, reeds, swabs, and your bail bondsman's business card in the outer pouches.

Q: Do you accept trades?
A: Hell no. I hate that hard shell case.

Q: What should I do with my hard shell case then?
A: You can keep it in case you need to drop your bass clarinet out a 40-foot high window.
