Seggelke Hand-Made Bb Clarinet Reeds (Singles)

Like Seggelke makes his clarinets by hand, he makes his reeds by hand, too. Dude is prolific. Now he's offering the same "hand-finished" style reeds to everyone (of course they're made by a machine, since he's not THAT prolific!)

When I visited his shop earlier this year, I saw them on the shelf (in nice little boxed he also makes – sheesh!) and asked if I could try some. They have a dark German sound that's worth giving a try. I personally liked them a lot; I think you will find them to have a very different sound and response than French reeds that we're all used to.

Give one a try — actually give three a try: get one 1/4 strength softer and 1/4 strength harder than you currently play.
